On Friday afternoon, Grandma Sandy, Grandpa Don and Aunt Melody came for a visit. Daddy had no idea Mommy and Grandpa had been planning this surprise for a little while. He was totally shocked!
On Saturday afternoon, we decided to venture out to Meers, OK. There is is little family restaurant here that everyone has been raving about. So naturally, we needed to see what the "best burger in Oklahoma" was all about! It was a pretty good burger indeed! I apologize that I do not have pictures from this outing. I know Melody took some though and hopefully she'll be nice enough to share with me:) We got lost along the way and a 45 minute drive turned into about 90! However, it wasn't too bad because as we were looking for our turnoff we ended up driving through the wildlife refuge and got to see some buffalo! I don't think any of us have ever been so close to such a large animal!
Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Melody just left for Oklahoma. They have early flights to catch tomorrow. We were sad too see them leave!
We had a really great time visiting with all of you. Travel Safe!
