It's too quiet around here.

Well, the house is quiet again (as quiet as it can be with a baby!). Bum Bum and Cole went back to Phoenix on Saturday. I think Cole really enjoyed his time out here. He kept telling me that "Oklahoma is the coolest place ever". Now, I'm pretty sure thats only because he's probably never visited so many parks and pools, climbed so many trees, or played so many videos games with Matt all in one week before.

On Wednesday we went to the pool in town. It's down at the high school and is open to the public for the summer. Cole loved the slides, especially the really steep one. Pics from the pool:

Madilyn LOVES to be outside. We've recently discovered that if we can't get her calmed down, walking outside does wonders. She'll often stop fussing the moment we walk out the door!

Madi also got her shots this past week. Oy, that was NOT fun. The nurse had me hold her down and she was wailing so loud. It was terrible. They say you're supposed to feel like a good mama for vaccinating your child, but I sure felt like an awful one. I dread any more of them. Oh, and to make it even better, the day after then, she pretty much screamed nonstop the entire day. This is so out of character for her and I felt so bad knowing I caused her so much pain :(
